Nobody is going to buy your book because some internet blogger (who probably is a snake oil salesman himself) gives your book a good review. Stop posting the same nonsense over and over.
Tim...until you post a review from someone of importance, its tough to take any of your nonsense about reviews seriously. I mean is the book buying public gonna really listen to some dude named Grady Harp ?
Do you guys just skim over the names I'm posting or are you really illiterate? <b>âAn interesting story that any trader will appreciateâ¦â -John Boik, Author of Lessons from the Greatest Stock Traders of All Time and How Legendary Traders Made Millions âA book all aspiring traders should read. The mental elements of trading described in Tim's story, both positive and negative, are ones that all traders experience...â -John Forman, Author of The Essentials of Trading</b> These guys are 2 of the most respected trading authors around. Have you read their books--they're great! But here's some more blurbs for ya, from 2 more WIDELY RESPECTED TRADING AUTHORS and this is just the beginning as I only sent out a few copies! <b>"A clearly-written account of a natural trader coming of age, a Catcher in the Rye for traders. Highly recommended if you want to be or understand a trader." --Aaron C. Brown, Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, Author of The Poker Face of Wall Street "Tim lays it on the line. The pain, the hunger, the glory, the brutality of trading in the trenches. Read this before you try to turn $12,000 into $2,000,000." --James Altucher, President, Stockpickr LLC, Formula Capital, and Author of Trade Like a Hedge Fund and SuperCa$h</b>
Altucher said that ? He must have been doing shots on your show before you quoted him. Ok..I'll give you Altucher. You are gonna need 10 more Altuchers to offset Grady harp.
Yah Altucher loved it and that's why I'll soon be writing for TheStreet.com and RealMoney.com---all based on his appreciation for my book. I really was brutally honest in every way because this is pretty much my new business card so I didn't want to screw it up
yawn- these are all reviews from other vendors....it\\\'s a professional courtesy...a butt slapping attaboy thing
Does that idiot Cody Willard still write for TheStreet.com? I used to subscribe....he was one of the reasons I stopped subscribing. If you go on there and trash him I will buy 10 copies of your book.
More reviews: "realistically, he needs to change that subtitle. "Stock operator" is an inflated-sounding buzz word, and the verbs "made" and "created" are almost unbelievably weak. The only way Tim could get away with a title this stupid and simultaneously maintain the perception that he has at least some intellect, is if he died and came back as Joel Greenblatt. And that ain't happening." "Better book title subheading: How I made $1.1M(post-tax like most people use) and lost much of it investing in an illiquid pink sheet my roomate's father ran." "It's long but at least it's not deceiving like current one...Tim says he's proud of hanging on to his money post tech bubble...too bad he hung on to it and didn't do anything with it before he lost most of it."
Actually those are called "assumptions", not "reviews". Reviews are given by people who have actually read the book, thus being able to backup their statements.
