Will X_TRADER allow me to login on 2 different computers @ the same time?
Any help appreciated.
The exchanges are particular about having only one login per account/exchange fees.
I don't know X_TRADER, but they could get themselves put out of business if they allowed simultaneous logins from the same account.
X_TRADER does allow that functionality, yes.
You will be using 2 licenses if/when you do this. Your FCM/IB will need to allow your account multiple location access.
To do this is necessary to pay for two licenses?
Correct sir. Is your reason because you have multiple traders?
Unfortunately I live in the countryside and the ADSL lines do not offer good reliability and is often interrupted. Therefore, I need to log in three times simultaneous on the same XTRADER account on three different computers. With each computer I connect to a different internet provider so if the lines of the other computers drop out I can continue to trade without interruptions. I verified that, if I make a simultaneous log-in in Xtrader, the following message appears: âYou are not allowed to login from more than one IP addressâ.
Understood. Have you thought of collocation?
Agreed. Having your view of the trading world pause, but continue automatically is much better than interrupting your session.
Sorry but I don't know what is a collocation.
Could you explain it ?
Other platforms will let you do that.
Strategyrunner and Global strategy trader will.
