jem doesn't read what you write, he reads what is already in his brain while looking at your words. His ability to do that is astounding. For example, but believe me this is just the tip of the iceberg, he said in responding to a post of mine above "...you said that Trump is under criminal investigation..." Well, of course I never said that. I wouldn't say that, because I don't know that he is under criminal investigation. I don't know that he isn't; I don't know that he is. I could have said somewhere that Trump may be under investigation (I doubt I would even say that) But jem, in any case, wouldn't make a distinction between "is" and "may be", because "is" is already implanted in his brain, so there is no room for "may be" to slip in. I think he went to law school. I don't no if he graduated. But god help his clients if he ever practiced law.

I used to try and engage him in conversations, but I have learned that he does not read well, and the result is that you will find yourself trying to correct his misunderstanding of what you posted. And there is no end to it. So nowadays I seldom respond to his posts. And when I do, it is usually a quick strike, and then I haul ass out of there.

Sometimes people listen in order to understand, and sometimes they only listen in order to frame a response. I'm not saying Jem does the latter, but that we all could do a better job of the former.

    jem does not read arguments...

    Piezoe...
argued that the IRS was not targeting conservatives... and jem and others destroyed that argument
Piezoe argued that immigration was a good thing... yet jem and others asked who you could be in favor of a million immigrants a year and still pretend the dems care about workers wages.
Piezoe and Tony argued the polls were not slanted yet Jem predicted they would drastically unskew in front of the election and they did and trump won..
Piezoe argues the FED reserve is not owned by private shareholders and jem proved him wrong.
Piezoe argued that it was a good thing we were giving nukes to Iran and jem and others said he was a lunatic.
Piezoe claims he is liberatarian yet jem and others point out is big govt loving pre commie
Piezoe says george soros is a great humanitarian and we all point out all the evil the man does with his money...

the list goes on an on..

so piezoe pretends I don't read his arguments. the reality is piezoe doesn't make arguments he makes leftist talking points and then can't support them. (except for science arguments)

Finally, if piezoe was reading... I was telling Tony he made the argument Trump was under criminal investigation... it was clearly not piezoe.

If piezoe was reading he would have sensed that none of that post was directed to him... and his quote far at the bottom of my post was left over from some previous post.

Piezoe lies like a leftist and then uses a typo to make a point. and piezoe bring up a person real life on an political discussion board manifests how butt hurt you are when your leftist talking points are exposed for the paid pablum they are.

so tony argues with me... piezoe chimes in and calls it a vortex... and claims I don't read arguments...

and then Tony (on another thread) posts this Hill article which characterizes the situation exactly like I said it should be characterized.

    ...
Trump’s first weeks in office have been anything but smooth.

The president continues to be dogged by a federal investigation into whether his associates cooperated with Russia in its efforts to meddle in the 2016 presidential election.

The controversy led him to oust retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn as national security adviser after it was revealed Flynn misled senior White House officials about his conversations with Russia's ambassador to the U.S.

Hiding in Tahiti and pretending to write a book. Like a lamb on the run.

Who's writing this new book? Bill Ayers is busy this time.

Were you as critical of "the art of the deal"? Do you think a book is some achievement for someone w/a JD who's had to write court briefings for a living?

I think the point is that it seems Obama is hiding so no one can ask him what he knew and when he knew it.

everything is a conspiracy these days.

Was Susan Rice one of Obama closest advisors / and did the dirty work on Benghazi in the media for him?
You think she would be doing that unmasking and questionable information collection without his consent?

so let me ask you this...

If Rice was illegally spying would you hold Obama responsible?

Similarly, is Trump responsible for his campaign people if they did something illegal?

I don't know about you but I suspect most of the leftys on this board and in the media... and some on the right will be answering those questions inconsistently without a good legal basis for doing so.
