This thread should be titled "Will the S&P top 1300 by the end of February", not "Can the S&P top 1300 by the end of February" --Of course it CAN, but it WILL NOT
Will short at the open and if there is no follow-through in the 1st half hour, I'll exit. The only thing that worries me most is that there are more people that agree with Bird than disagree or that think he is a moron. But at the same time I'm glad to see that he is getting the respect that was so well deserved for such a long time.
Once again Mr Volente has put a ceiling atop the market. Good work sir. do you do ellliot wave too ?!
It appears that Volente's pathetic attempt at upstaging Rubberbird crashed and burned. Twice in the past several weeks, Mr. Volente has made spectacularly bad calls. Perhaps, Mr. Apex Capital is with us after all.
it's quite sad. I told this pathetic soul that there would never be another poster on ET who had successive 35,000+ view "trading" threads. so I suppose jealousy has gotten the best of him.
I am bearish. With that said, and at the time of the call, the S&P was only 1.5% away from the 1300 mark. The mathematical volatility of the S&P would indicate that there is a very high probability of seeing 1300 during the month of Feb. I've seen you make some very nice calls, however, math would suggest a very low probability of not hitting 1300 at some point during Feb. even after the big market drop today.
HeyNTB, last I heard you were gong short at 1282 overnight(if I recall correctly) How did that turn out for you? regards Hans
