  1. Remember "Truth or Consequences ?"

    7%......10%.....18%

    .......................................................................................

The "tax take" in each country is the biggest business in each country....and is politically.... "not efficiency" driven....

It has taken many years to fudge the real employment numbers to where they are today....

Maybe in the not too distant future...the government will find
a "legal" way to call 50% unemployment...1% unemployment....

This from Shadow Government Statistics... updated through Jan 9.

How would the hoi polloi react if the REAL number were published?

Obviously the politicos fear, we "can't handle the truth"...

  3. The Politicos do not know the term "truth"....

Once they understand what "truth" means....

    Then progress may be possible....

However not with Lawyers = "Professional Liars"....

Another word missing from their vocabulary is "competence"....

    "Truth and Competence"....

Just might be of some help....in forming good policy....

  4. The problem I have with this graph is that there's no leverage effect for the SGS. Therfore they assume that there is a permanent 8-10% unemployed that NEVER show up in the statistics, how can that be?

Rather the SGS should be levered up 2x say from the official statistics, meaning that the unemployment will fluctuate, but it's always under reported.

  5. oh yeah; if you want the truth and competence, there will be more people unemployed. There are more people employed by government every year since the creation of FED. Think about it why?

  6. Good Economics and Good Politics.....

    Are like salt and pepper....

    Oil and water.....

    .....................................................................

    Structural changes required.....

If real progress is going to be made....

    Otherwise....just more of the same....

    And perhaps worse.....
