The incident: dog excrement found on the roof and windows of the Romney station wagon. How it got there: Romney strapped a dog carrier — with the family dog Seamus, an Irish Setter, in it — to the roof of the family station wagon for a twelve hour drive from Boston to Ontario, which the family apparently completed, despite Seamus's rather visceral protest.

The tides will start turning with the congressional elections in 2010. With the way it's going now, you can expect the Republicans to pick up a record number of seats, in both the house and senate. I actually love how this is going. America is realizing what an absolute cluster fuck they put into the white house. The Democrats should enjoy their congressional majorities right now, because that is about to come to a very abrupt end, courtesy of Obama. Thank you dictator-in-chief!!!:D

  5. Romney has a chance to beat Obama, but he won't get the nomination.Don't you get it ? Romney is Mormon, was once pro choice, is for gun control and started a similar health care plan in Mass that Obama is trying to start now .No way in hell does he get the Republican nomination.Idiot Republicans will vote for Idiot Palin before they vote for Romney

Unless Obamas poll numbers are below 20 % no way would the Democrats let Hilary run in 2012

Obama is losing support from independents and democrats, but that doesn't automatically mean they would vote for the Republican candidate.I voted for Obama, and he has pissed me off on a lot of things,But unless Ron Paul or Mitt Romney gets the Republican nomination I will vote for Obama again,so will many others if they think the Republican choice is worse then Obama

LOL!!!!!!!!! Just watch Romney run, secure the nomination, and beat Obama. Voters are starting to see that Obama is such a fucking radical, and he is injecting those views into his policies. Most of the idiots that voted for him heard about his radical side, but thought most of the rhetoric was just speculation and panic from the Republicans. Well, guess what's happening brainstorm???? The voters are getting so turned off with this guy, and in such a quick fashion, that alarm bells must be going off in the white house. Obviously, Obama's idea of "change" isn't what a lot of his supporters envisioned, as they now see the enormous mistake they made in putting someone like that in charge.
Bottom line, it doesn't matter what Romney's religion is, or what his view points may be about different social issues, because Obama is such a fucking disaster. By 2012, the American people will be so enraged by these radical, douche bag policies, that Romney or Clinton could easily get elected.

  7. If you post something like this, you should be able to back it up with, you know, actual data.
Reagan, who came into office facing a situation somewhat as dire as Obama, having succeeded an unpopular Prez that left an economic mess behind, is the closest recent comparison to Obama. Take a look at his approvals, focusing especially on his first two years:

    Reagan's approval ratings

Obama at present, according to Real Clear Politics, is sitting at around 56% - 38%. This is not materially different from Reagan, who peaked at slightly north of 60% in the first year, and bottomed, it should be noted, at slightly south of 40% in the early part of 1983, when the economy, not coincidentally, was also bottoming.
That was two years into his term. He was re-elected.
We're at barely six months into Obama's term. If he merely repeats Reagan's performance, he'll be re-elected. That gives him another year and a half to fix the economy, or, alternatively, have the economy fix itself. It also would be not at all surprising to see his popularity bottom at that time. It would mean precisely nothing to his re-election prospects.
The current setup is ideal for re-election: succeed an unpopular president, let the economy recover, win re-election.
    I wouldn't bet against it.

  8. Name one Republican who had a different region like Mormon,Is pro universal health care ,was once pro choice and is pro gun control that ever won the party's presidential nomination

Those issues might not matter in the general election, but they sure as hell matter in the republican primaries

  9. That's the problem, and until they get rid of the Party of Rush, it will remain so.

The pubs two best candidates will never make thru the primaries. Right now, the dems will b facing Palin/TBA in 2012.

    That's a chip shot for the dems:D

Unless he calls someone from the press a "major league asshole" the MSM won't turn on him

I think they are listening now. Especially with the lack of clear direction from the Right. I thought he was a loon when he ran in '08, but I listen to him now. I just hope the power players don't marginalize him again.
