I am getting out of professional trading, and looking to get a job with a discount broker like Scottrade. I was originaly a stock broker with a series 7 about 8 years ago, then I got out of the business for 4 years before joining a prop firm. The Prop firm was able to reactivate my series 7 without me having to take the test again. Does this mean I have a legit Series 7 license that I can move over to an advisor position at a discount broker?? Thanks
