Will IB Interface with CME E-Quotes?

Discussion in 'Index Futures' started by version77, Feb 21, 2002.

  1. Anyone checking out the CME E-Quotes packages that will be
available soon? For only $30 you can get the e-mini's with data
directly from the CME. Any opinions? You can have your broker
interface with it. Will IB be able to interface with this?

IB already gets the feed direct from GLOBEX. There was a period a few months back where the connection for the feed or something got overloaded. Since then, there have been a new lines and connections added. I have not heard of any complaints regarding the data feed for IB since then. If you know of any, let me know i'll make sure they are addressed.

To build on your question by relating it to charting:

I think you will find the $30 package is delayed for charting purposes.

CME are linked to futuresource for charting. Live charts start at over $70 month.

  4. Yeah he's right don't get excited yet, you have to "upgrade" to get the streaming charts.

  5. Why would anyone want to pay $30 for delayed e-mini quotes?
    Wouldn't they practically be worthless?
