I am running out of quarters for my bad language jar. RN, I have always appreciated your ability to take seemingly complex topics and dumb/break 'em down to more solvable problems... Those interested in thinking and learning for themselves feel likewise. I'd go on but can feel the cages rattling. Trading goes against human nature of predicting. Those that think PA trading is 'this bar causes this to happen' don't have a clue what's really going on and bastardize it. Suppose it has to be this way. BD
Exactly. That's why I only care about the trading thoughts of people who prove that they can trade and demonstrate it through live, clear unambiguous trading calls and pnl statements. Not wishy-washy nebulous calls or hindsight analysis etc (which anybody can do)
Not really. Trading is about supply and demand. This is true in all markets, financial or otherwise. There's no need to predict. You merely need to see the existence of supply and demand. When you see people queuing up to buy fish, you go find a supply of fish. See ? That simple
Do you mean, people like Redneck, that claim to be profitable, but give out very little if any details at all as to how they trade and keep that to PM's and mainly just say learn PA. So many liars and fakers, odds are you'll believe what sounds easiest and end up learning junk, useless guru's normally have fan bases which want to believe in them and support them despite losing money with them, easier than admitting they've made a mistake I guess. As said before it's safer just to step away from forum's all together and make your own plan up, it's not that hard after all! p.s. I post most of my trades near live in my Journal with details of why and how.
There is no need to predict which goes against human nature. Let's agree to agree to which you still disagree.
Your both saying the same thing and your both right, prediction if futilie as it's impossible to do, anyone predicting off candle stick patterns is a loser.
I don't mean anybody in particular. I am, however, suggesting that unless one knows the trader's plan and can verify whatever claims are made on his own (the fact that a trader has a plan does not necessarily mean that he can follow it), he'd best take whatever is said with the aforementioned grain of salt. But it appears that note's journal is being hijacked yet again, and now I'm part of it. So, see ya.
Why do you need to know the plan ? If someone says he knows how to sell fish, is it not a simple case of telling him to sell some fish, then it will become obvious he knows how to sell fish ?
Well I asked RedNeck for proof that he can actually trade above a easily photoshopped PNL statement, Live trade calls a few of them, would be good, on the basis he refused to share any information at all, he shall remain on my he's a scammer and demo loser list, why else would you hide it. Feel free to move this to my journal or make a thread for outting scammers. We need to stop people that refuse to show proof they have a clue, from pretending to be guru's for financial gain or maybe just to boost his ego, who knows. Stop so called traders, ruining could be good traders chances, we should be on the same side against the banks, not hurting each other.
