  2. I think the iPhone is the most perfect phone ever created.

Music, apps that make it useful, and a phone, never mind the megapixeled camera, but all of those combined are so much better than anything out there. I wouldn't ever think about buying anything else but iPhone.

    sure, apple devices are cool.
    perfect design, features, etc.

    Just one, huge warning tip.

If you use them just before falling asleep, you'll disrupt your production of melatonin (by the pineal gland in the center of the brain).

For example, a Swiss-German study published in March in the Journal of Applied Physiology established that exposure to light from a backlit LED computer screen prolonged wakefulness even over non-LED screens. (The test was conducted with a Hewlett-Packard screen. Apple’s iPad also has an LED screen.) Interestingly, dedicated e-book readers such as the Kobo or the Kindle, which are not backlit and do not function as light sources, probably wouldn’t create this effect.

    Why this is super-important?
Melatonin is related to the production of two other vastly crucial hormones: glutathione and human growth hormone.
Melatonin and glutathion antioxidant properties are orders of magnitude stronger than any healthy foods.

Well, you can get such life-enhancing information on your iPad or Macbook, just dont stare at them after 10pm...

But masses are dumb, 5 yrs from now we'll have MASSIVE epidemic of sleep and hormone disorders.

  6. Logmein by far. Access to my PC from my iPhone. Priceless and invaluable. $30 app for the iPhone, free to connect PC's online if you don't have one.

I remember paying $120 per month to citrix for such a capability, and it wasn't even possible from my blackberry at the time.

If you don't think that's useful and beyond whatever your phone can do now, you're welcome to list a more invaluable app.

There's also shazam and all of my broker's apps. The CNBC RT app, hootsuite, twitter, facebook, those are standard free apps, but the logmein app is a must have for any remote systems trader.

LogMeIn, CNBC R/T, Shazam, HootSuite, Twitter, Facebook are all available for Android phones - you haven't made a compelling case why iPhones are superior.

Not sure if you realize it but Android phones have outsold iPhones for a while now; Apple got close when it released the iPhone4S and sales ticked up but that was pent-up demand.

Clearly not everyone wants an iPhone...myself included. Most tech savvy people prefer Android.
