Will A.I. make us dumb ... or dumber

  1. You guys are wondering if it will happen in the ''future''

My wife talks about her newest students at the college she teaches as a professor. When she delves into a topic, the generation Zeros start to yawn and curl up with their phones. Most dont take more than 3 classes per day so they can nap and sleep and rest inbetween. The zeros will ''steer'' the class discussions toward topics which influencers have posted about that morning. The actual text is never discussed nor followed. She tried to start giving failing grades but the entire class (except for asians and south asians) would have failed.

The asians dont even discuss. They read the text and make their own lecture notes in class. They are ''light years ahead'. They carry ''actual text books''. The asians create AI and the Zeros use and depend upon AI. The asians build our smart phones and EVs...while the Zeros:

Fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your hometown
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way

Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain
And you are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking
And racing around to come up behind you again

And even the topics involving the beloved influencers is very very limited. The zeros often are missing from class. Car crashes while texting. Weed experiments. Broken phone charger. Leaving the house without any money and having an empty apple pay account. The parents often call the teacher asking to ''make exceptions for our snowflake''. "We often worry about our little Zero''.

Many zeros drive their teslas as if it actually does have automated driving. Weve lost a few Zeros. But automated driving will come and the Zeros will need to do very little each day. Then, there are the egirls grouped together in the back. Speaking in a extremely limited ''online chat language'' they do selfies and prim their hair, this all happening with no regard to surroundings nor people...the profoundly Low IQ is shocking to witness.

My wife sits in the food court area at lunch...watching the Zeros order Uber Eats to be brought into the school food court. Its all a perfect storm. The Zeros parents seem to have unlimited printed money now that salaries have tripled since covid. And really, nobody does anything all day. So, why should we expect the Zeros to get better.

It all happened so fast. But its already done. AI is just an end cap on a fully failed state of affairs. Even as I write this Chrome keeps interrupting me asking to do "writing assistance". Ive tried to turn it off..but its hard wired into the program. And it will get worse and worse.

Sure. If you are educated and old enough to have gotten past these new world idioms or retardation..you probably will be able to use AI to delve more deeply into advanced subjects. But each newer generation will just lean on them like a Fatman Leaning on a Mobility Scooter.

And when you get married and have your own little Zeros, dont expect too much. And prepare to bail them out of every brain dead decision they will make..cuz they will have quite a few. Have you ever witnessed a Zero making a meal or figuring out a car problem or extrapolating and further skewing misinformation.

wsb is a perfect place to witness our Zeros in action. And check out TikTok and Instagram these days. We have an entire generation of socially and intellectually stunted dependents...depending upon printed money, free bull markets with clearly defined Unicorns. Dependent upon fake colleges and unlimited gov jobs offered. Dependent upon ample weed supplies and avoiding the military service and having soft and warm and fuzzy online safe places. Dependent upon unlimited psychological and academic supports, unlimited pharmaceutical solutions and cosmetic improvements.

It already completely over. The question was about 7 years too late. Its like a Monopoly Game for retards, where the bank keeps printing phony money, the hotels and motels keep getting built, everyone passes Go and Collects $200 in Bitcoins and we all get a ''Get outta Jail Free" card.

    Ask these questions to AI:
Do we need another ''Brick in the Wall". What went on ..on the other side of that Wall. Did we build a wall to keep ourselves inside? To keep our vanity and keep our Pride. Do we really know what goes on deep down inside. And we run and Hide. Will there be a day that we must decide? Do we still have the ability to decide? Was it really all about Money?

Long you live and high you fly
And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be

Ask Roger is Life is Real..or if its artificial

  2. There's something you don't understand.

It is not about the new generations. They adapt to the new technologies they have. The same way you used a calculator they use AI now.

It is about us, the old generations. We are redundant.

They are fine. Just new tools for new people.

It is already making people with the smarts to use it, smarter and dumb people dumber in that way the brain seeking efficiency does.

There is another way, AI is already being tuned to respond at the intelligence level of the user. This can be taken further, if somebody is mentally deficient, it can refuse to be drawn into being simply a like a pocket calculator and force them to learn a bit.

Its already amazing for adults with ADHD as it let's them bounce around a score of ideas at 4am instead of driving friends and family insane.

so what you and your prof are not understanding is that there is huge pool of non or incomplete college brainwashed individuals that are extremely successful beyond typical traditional so called papered educated zero's.

i am one of those - i was taught "to teach myself" - private school, accelerated education, isolated individual cubicles, speed reading, extremely disciplined.

so i tried college lol and that was 45 years ago - can't imagine now how stupid it is.

what's sad is the parents pay money to have their kids get shit for brains.

Microwaves made us forget how to cook. GPS made us forget how to read a map. Smart phones made libraries and personal contacts obsolete. Hell, you don't even have to learn a new language anymore. You don't have to teach your kids, they can just ask Siri. If you are under 30, you don't know how to drive a manual stick car. Soon enough not even an automatic car.

We are already dumber, AI will just be the cherry on the top.

Emotionally the new generation will be incredibly weak (it already is) and suicides will increase.

  6. Wait until we all get a silicon couple. One that can actually talk and give you company. That will be our extinction.

  7. Society, happiness and well being already died in 2007 with the invention of smartphones and social media. Life has felt like a downward spiral since then.
