Not necessarily. What if pro-liberty businessmen take affront at this blatant politicization of free trade and commerce, and decide to let WL use their services? If marketed correctly, this would persuade millions of pro-liberty people all over the world to rapidly sign up as customers. It would create amazing brand loyalty overnight. It remains to be seen whether there are any real-life Hank Reardens, if not then we will just have to create some or become them ourselves. For example, Alertpay is the main competitor to PayPal. They could massively expand their business profile and profits by offering to handle WL donations anonymously. Ditto for anyone offering alternative payment & hosting services that have been cut off.
That's bollocks. It didn't work in 1775 and it won't work now. Taking casualties in a war is normal and in no way indicates that you cannot win in the long-run.
The only problem I had with Ron Paul's essay/speech was pointing all the blame at Neocon's. I think the responsibility and blame falls on all parties and all sides (Left and Right). However, it's good to hear that there's at least ONE high profile person who will actually defend true liberty and freedom. Reminds me of when everyone was screaming burn the mosque that was planned for NYC but Bloomberg publically defended its right to be built.

Hey, our government absolutely needs to be kept in check at all times. I know it, you know it, and the founding fathers knew it. If all we have right now is an unsavory character like Assange to step up and fill that role, we've got to roll with it and appreciate what we have, no?
It's not easy going up against the World. This one moment in time is going to be a game changer, this is only going to gain more speed...
What complete horseshit! This Wikileaks episode has the potential to expose U.S. Imperialism as not quite as perfected as some have assumed.
