"Why won't God heal amputees?"

  1. never ceases to amaze me how a bunch of pesky humans here on earth for a minute amount of time, act like we are so KNOWING about creation, the universe and our earth...we are so scientific and smart.....but know so little.....whatever happened to Pluto??????LOL..we have no idea how we came to be yet we talk with such authority on why there is no God.

  2. I find you guilty of using a straw man fallacy.

Pluto is still there merrily going around the sun.

No one knows if there is or is not a God and no one should take an authoritative position either way. Science does not preclude the existance of a God and the Bible or any other of the numerous holy books prove a God exists.

  4. No one knows if there is or is not a god? He sent his son to earth and rose from the dead.....but since you do not accept it as evidence, you say there is no proof......But a bunch of Scientist decide something is not a planet and you all just say..."ok, enough proof for me"

  5. I declare you to be using the fallacy of circular logic. Since the Bible told of Jesus rising from the dead and since the bible declares itself the word of God, a classic case of circular logic.

I never said there is no God. I said no one can prove it one way or the other. The Bible is not proof nor is it disproof. It is neither.
Science can neither prove or disprove the existence of a God or many Gods. Gods are in the realm of the supernatural while science deals with the natural world.

Planets are defined by scientists. They can have it any way the want as they are the authority that decides what is or is not a planet. A planet is a somewhat arbitrary definition. How a scientists defines a planet has nothing to do with a debate of God's existence. I believe bringing the scientific debate over Pluto's status into a theological debate is a classic fundie use of straw man fallacy with a bit of false premise thrown in.

Gravity once was defined by Newton. It was later defined differently and better by Einstien. Einstein's definitions are now being questioned. That is how science works.

You say tm is guilty of circular logic and then you go on to say that scientists can decide for themselves anything they want about what is a planet. And, scientists are the authority about how to decide. YOU ARE GUILTY! Of what, you ask? Why of course the same type of circular logic you accuse others of.

In short, you use the same sort of illogical pagan arguments we see all the time in those foolishly trying to refute fundamental truths.

Fundamental truths? That is so funny. Here is your chance to show us the fundamental truth.
Would you please provide one piece of evidence, without using the bible, that Jesus even existed.

  9. Only if you can provide one shred of truth that.......Caesar existed, Ghangis Kahn, henry the 8th, Columbus, ......all you have is a bunch of stories, paintings and relics.....yet you probably believe in all the rest.

Pluto is now downgraded from planet status after better evidence is found so therefore God exists. Kind of a stretch is it not?
We changed our mind about Pluto the same way man figured out the bible was wrong and that biblegod does not exist. We accumulated enough evidence to decide that it never was what we thought it was.
