"Why won't God heal amputees?"

  1. Yeah, but all he's doing is bogarting Buddha... taking 2,500 year old truths and dressing them up in funny clothes.

As Vanilla Ice so amply demonstrated, it doesn't take genius to bite someone else's rhymes...

  2. Well, both of them teach the same doctrine:
"In the early years after founding Growing in Grace in Miami in 1986, de Jesus didn't claim to be Christ. Instead, he worked as a pastor spreading his doctrine: that under a new covenant with God, there is no sin and no Satan, and people are predestined to be saved. But as his following expanded, his claims did, too. In 1998, de Jesus avowed that he was the reincarnation of the Apostle Paul. Two years ago at Growing in Grace's world convention in Venezuela, he declared himself Christ. And just last week, he called himself the Antichrist and revealed a "666" tattooed on his forearm. His explanation: that, as the second coming of Christ, he rejects the continued worship of Jesus of Nazareth."

We need to check his tatoo...

  5. Buddha saw that the problem was mental illness, and therefor the solution was for the mind. Mental illness, for example, would suggest that truth can be x number of years old, as if it were changeable. Truth can be denied or accepted, that is all. Buddha accepted truth. Thus, we both "bogarted" the truth.

Was I aware of his teachings 2000 years ago? Of course! I was a constant student from a very young age. For the Buddha's contribution, I was grateful, because I understood it. Understanding is appreciation, because what you understand you can identify with, and by making it part of you, you have accepted it with love. Come therefore unto me, and learn of the truth in you.

True learning is constant, and so vital in its power for change that a Son of God can recognize his power in one instant and change the world in the next. That is because by changing his mind, he has changed the most powerful device that was every given him for change. This in no way contradicts the changelessness of mind as God created it, but you think that you have changed it as long as you learn through the ego. This places you in a position of needing to learn a lesson that seems contradictory; - you must learn to change your mind about your mind. Only by this can you learn that it is changeless.

When you heal, that is exactly what you are learning. You are recognizing the changeless mind in your brother by realizing that he could not have changed his mind. He himself may think he can, or he would not perceive himself as sick. If you see only the changeless in him, you have not really changed him. By changing your mind about his for him, you help him undo the change the ego thinks it has made for him.

The mind we share is shared by all our brothers, and as we see them truly they will be healed. Your mind is so powerful a light that you can look into theirs and enlighten them, as I can enlighten yours.

So I say, "Do not hide your light under a bushel". The whole glory and perfect joy that is the Kingdom lies in you to give. Do you not want to give it?

  6. A tattoo like that is appropriate because it is the body that is "anti" Christ. As I said before, the body is the apparent opposite of what Christ is. The body "proves" the unlimited Christ is limited. The body "proves" the strong, healthy Christ is weak and sick. The body "proves" that Christ can die.

So depending on how you choose to look at your brother, you can see the devil or Christ. In the second coming, all are seen as Christ, and therefore none in particular to be worshipped. If you would truly see the Christ in another, you would see grandeur so awesome you would at once feel tempted to drop to your knees and worship. And yet, you are an equal. The second coming will not come until you realize this.

If you choose to percieve only bodies, you want Christ dead...and you are "anti-Christ". Yet it is not "you" who percieves as such, but the ego, and your identification with it. That is why I said, "die to yourself that you may live". You remain Christ, unchanged, unchangeable for eternity. That you can seem to be Christ and anti-Christ at the same time is temporary. It can only happen in "time"...a dreamstate of the mind. There cannot be contradiction in the Kingdom, so one must be true, and the other false. Therefore you remain Christ as always, despite appearances.

The body is a "tatoo" on the forearm of Christ, to be washed off with the passing of time. Like beasts, the body has x number legs, x number eyes, x number ears...ect. The body is the "number of the beast".

  7. I get it... Johnny K is on the L. Ron Hubbard road to riches program.

"If you want to get rich, you start a religion."

You've got some real leadership potential there buddy. Jim Jones straight up. That thar patter o' yourn is slicker n' owl shit.

And what a great place to practice your chops too -- an out of the way trader's message board where few are paying attention.

I was just thinking about this today as i left church and was stuck in a traffic jam of cars leaving the church.
Selling Jesus has got to be the greatest business ever invented by man. Even coca cola the second greatest business ever conceived where they take plain water and add a couple of cents worth of flavor cant hold a candle to organized religion. Coca cola has expenses. They have to buy ingredients and build factories and hire trucks and pay taxes.
Selling Jesus stands head and shoulders above that in profitability. All a religion has to do is build a building, hire a motivational speaker to convince you that to be in the club(saved)you must give up at least 10% of your income. They will also convince you to do volunteer labor for the church to further drive down their overhead. And the best thing is its all tax free. It is the most brilliant way to separate people from their money ever conceived.

i see your point. nevertheless if i said that i can tell the
difference i'd put on shoes that are too big for me. i
find it very unlikely (still) that i am in dialogue with a
realised master ... but i am not realised, so in fact ...
    i can't tell.
