i cant get TWS to display ETSY or MOMO (probably others) in any chart on any tab. I closed it down and reopened with no change. what might cause this to happen
I talked to someone at IBKR and while they couldnt explain what changed to cause this to start happening, they did provide me with a solution. type ticker in box, hit enter -> select "stock (directed)" [if this option is not available directly below "stock SMART" then click the tiny down arrow at the bottom of this selection box to find "stock (directed)" -> choose the exchange you wish to get info from then click "ok" sort of a PITA but it works.
