My son's instagram. He's left of Bernie but he's only 14yo. I was raised in a family of Feds/OSS/CIA/State Dept. My dad was a Secret Service agent and did POTUS detail into his 30s.

We define ourselves as "armed Liberals"

Well, since before I left. So at least since 1998. FOID-cards since the mid80s or earlier.

All homeowners in SUI are issued SIG 55x series rifles.

  4. Why are the "framers" worshipped like gods as if they could not have made grand mistakes in the phrasing and even inclusion of such idiotic amendment. Also, it would not be me who would knock on your door if indeed ownership of any or all of such type of weapons was banned and you would not comply. You would be served a search and/or arrest warrant by swat officers and you could choose to go rogue and literally bite the bullet or comply. But I am not postulating a total ban and retroactively would never work or be feasible but I am absolutely sure it would not be because of non compliant elements such as you posed in your little fantasy story.

  7. Exact. What do you need an assault rifle for when your awesome handgun does the job just fine.

  8. Cool then let's legalize all drugs. The war on drugs also never worked. How can some people live with such inherent contradictions?

  9. Not true. Upon leaving military training one can keep his/her gun. Not all households are given guns. Where did you read that nonsense?

This is where your lack of knowledge regarding firearms is getting you a bit sideways. Point being, he can ( and I do not doubt ) empty 8 rounds out of his Smith and Wesson revolver accurately just about as fast as he could empty 8 rounds out of your common Glock semi-auto pistol. Not quite as fast but if the objective is to hit what you're aiming at the time difference is not as great as you'd think - damned close.
