Really? So, your algorithmic forecasting did work out well this week? Basically, you were expecting a down week on Monday, but then the market rallied. Then, after Tuesday's Close you were bullish and said that going short here (at the market high) was a bad idea. Then the market tanked. Of course, you did hedge that bet saying your algorithm said a pullback was likely. Basically, you said the market would either go up or down.
It's the same outcome if you put a high level poker player up against amateurs. Sure, the amateur may get the occasional win, but in the end the high level player will end up with all the chips. They're all playing the same game and with the same rules. He's just a more experienced and better player making better decisions and performing better under stress.
Lazy Fairy is butt hurt so resorting to story time. Not gonna bother with the juvenile nitpicking, blaming off topic bs.
First you talk about being rational and logical, but become emotional and agitated when someone answers to your post and argument. Instead of answering rationally and calm, your come with outbursts saying I'm FOS and butt hurt and call me names. I have the facts on my side, so if you want to debate it seriously you can respond to what I first posted. Please explain where I was wrong and how my reasoning was wrong.
I responded to what you put forth and which was clearly flawed, so if anyone derailed the topic it was you. Anyway, it's clear to everyone else here who is hurt and agitated and it's not me. Maybe you're the one who should run away and then the adults can have a civil discussion. By the way - I don't mind people being wrong. We're all doing our best here. But if someone is consistently bashing other methods and approaches and claiming something else is better, well, one better deliver, IMO.
Looks like Mickey Mouse blocked me. It's fascinating how easily agitated people are here. Throwing a tantrum and blocking people as soon as someone comes with a dissenting view or challenges their established beliefs and arguments. If Mickey had anything interesting to say he could have responded factually. Instead, this is the outcome. Sad, really. Maybe he should log off ET and focus on improving his algorithms instead of getting wound up by random posts online.
I think stuff on the internet forums should not be taken too seriously and certainly should not influence our mood in the real life. If someone disagrees, let them.
100% Some people think you owe them an explanation, like we're duty bound to the fact they want to drag on nonsense so they can score points. I'm happy if people disagree, great!
