Does true love exist? Older guys who are married.... are you still in love with your wife, after xx years? Or is it more a partnership?
There seems to be an abundance of these threads nowadays. Makes me feel that people have become too mercenary in relationships. To those of you who will go through life being completely self obsessed, I hope you have a good retirement home lined up. Yes true love does exist in my case. I am 37, got married at 25 while in grad school. She supported me for an additional year. I was on a stipend with tuition paid but wasn't exactly living the high life. Fast forward 12 years. Am married with 2 kids. I am still in love with her. In hindsight it was more intense before but is warmer now. Its a pleasure to partner with her to raise our kids and watch them grow. Brings a smile to my face at the end of a day on a job well done. There is nothing like having a partner who loves you and also to see your own reflection in your kids. IMO apart from love, it is really important to have common aspirations. I look forward to growing old with her. It has always been us as a team vs everyone else. Good girls and good movies get booked in advance so make sure you don't miss an opportunity. Also I am South Asian, so does that skew the pool that was available to me?

I used to be like that. once I reached early 30s and my dick was not the equivalent of a nail gun. I wanted more and settled down. Been married 25 years and it's been good. I think people should wait till they get it out of thier system instead of rushing to marry young.
If I landed a bisexual supermodel lookalike with a porn-star body, high intelligence, aged 18-25, who was a total pervert nymphomaniac in bed, fun and trustworthy - I wouldn't turn her down in favour of having 3 or 4 cute girls next door as casual fuck buddies. Wifey and I met each other while she was on vacation in California. She is from Sweden. We knew each other for two weeks and fell in love and made our wedding plans. She went back to Sweden and I joined her after four months and we got married in Sweden. We then moved back to the USA for a few years and then went back to Sweden for 5 years. We have been married for 23 years living in the USA. Both of us are happier now then when we first got married and we were happy then too. Do we have bad days...yes...do we have arguments yes...are their sacrafices...yes...Are there any regrets...no. So we knew each other for two weeks and have been married for 23 years... ES

About a decade back I got seriously ill ended up in an ICU, I promise you, all I could think about as I lay there, suffering was my wife. You don't think about that trade you missed, or that beach you could be holed up on, you think about who loves you.
