What am I missing? Yesterday and today Asian stocks were hammered and most likely so will European stocks in a few hours. Some of the Asian indices are down double digits for the two days. This morning the ES sold off to 1256 and the ER2, YM and NQ were equally weak. Since then, the Asian indices sold off about the same amount as Sunday night (US time) So why the heck hasn't the ES etc broken this morning's lows? What am I missing?
Certainly possible though we didn't really start selling off viciously on the ES until Europe opened. So, if we don't sell off then, then I'll maybe believe the "conspiracy theory" I'd figure it more likely that they'd push things down as much as possible into an emergency Fed cut at 8:30 Tues morning.
