  1. Good Morning ron_887,

    you are right. Trading is NOT hard. We make it hard.

  2. If it were easy then who would take the other side of the trade?

    Trading is easy.
    Being profitable with trading is not.
    Being profitable with trading in the long run is even worst.

    I've been trading for around 7 years too. Yes, trading is difficult. The market is like a bully, don't fight against it but befriend it or else get your ass kicked each day. You have to leave behind your morals, feelings or beliefs since a bully doesn't care about it neither does the market.

  6. I get the sense that you're genuine,I don't feel that you're trolling.

    Your message,however,is quite confusing.

    Are you a successful trader that recommends a coinflip rather than any real effort towards improving your odds?

    I also found your shout out to "Free R Kelly" quite confusing but that's a whole other topic.:D

    Trading is hard becase it takes quite awhile to learn how to trade in the midst of uncertainty. We (us retail traders and all traders including institutional traders..HFTs ...hedge funds…etc) can never have all the data beforehand because there are too many unknown factors, in fact some are unknowable. This is that sea of uncertainty in which we (all of us) attempt to navigate and sail successfully in. We can only devise strategies and things of a tactical nature, implement them to the best of our ability and be ready to improvise, adapt them, change them because the markets are fluid and uncertain. Yes, we can structure trades (entry..exit..profit target..SL…) but the market doesn’t care about our structure. We trade in a fog of uncertainty. But all this doesn’t mean we can’t learn to navigate in the this fog and become successful. The market is not about you. It is not out to “get” you because you are a retail trader. It doesn’t care about you or me. It is what it is. We have to learn to navigate it. That takes time, effort, work. And failing.

    IT is easy if you buy VOO every month; but so few would call that time frame / trading.
    In order to avoid confusion i would not call that trading i would call that profitale investing + more poWer to him.
    Adding to the complexity, most would call Jim rogers a trader but since he goes long\ short but long time frames+ he calls himself an investor.
    Adding to the complexity,in the old hedge fund Jim rogers called soros the trader + himself an analyst.

    Most take the other side of the trade for profit, pleasure+ business;
    ease has little to do with it...........................................................................:caution::caution:

  10. It’s hard for beginners. I remember when I was a new I even sometimes thought that it was impossible to do. Over time I gained experience, calmed down and it became easier to do. I couldn’t get rid of stress completely but it really became much easier to do.
