Could not agree more. Those are the guys for whom there is a special place reserved in hell https://www.google.com/amp/s/thecol...rite-robert-kiyosaki-companys-bankruptcy/?amp
Well only one of several businesses went bankrupt. He still has several viable business ventures and a few extra million stuffed away. The only damage was done to his reputation which is suspect at best. He's not reduced to eating cat food yet.
You don't get it, do you? Life is not about wealth and food or other tangibles. When you lie on your death bed, it all comes down to whether you ran a good race or whether you were a selfish prick and lied and cheated others for pure self gain. This is really all that life is about. If you have not realized that then I am afraid you are still in need to go through a lot of tough experiences and there are also a lot who just don't have the intellect to see this until they actually die.
“Money may not buy happiness, but I'd rather cry in a Jaguar than on a bus.” ― Françoise Sagan "You can't buy happiness!! However you can rent such a reasonable facsimile that you'll hardly notice the difference" --Deaddog Actually what I don't get is why you are posting on a trading forum.
I thought you've done a great job of explaining your beliefs. Live within your means. Don't use debt. Happiness is a state of mind. What you haven't explained is why you are posting on a trading forum where making millions overnight and flaunting your wealth with expensive toys is to be expected. Truth is what you believe. Only you can decide if you are happy.
Who is making millions overnight? Who drives expensive toys? Please get real for a moment. Most guys who talk about trading on this site are dead broke. But they do dream, for sure. And that is the contradiction I pointed out. Most on this site seem to live either beyond their means or dream of things beyond their means. This is the exact mindset that disqualifies from the properties of a long term successful trader, one of which is patience. Others are hard work, intelligence, risk appetite but risk avoidance at the same time, being passionate about this career. Most on this forum lack all of them or only tick a single box. I am talking about developing and executing a true edge, not bullshitting yourself around as a sales con man or sticking some candlesticks up one's ass. But to your question, I am here for the entertainment, the humor and the rare good content.
Not sure where you get your ideas, but lots of people are here to find edge and/or develop it, exchange ideas. I rarely see people here bragging with their toys. Most of glory boys are on reddit.
