  4. Yep, it's all part of the indoctrination process.

Most fail, a few actually learn how to see a channel and trade it ... but they're rare.

For the most part these guys are like romanus ... way too intelligent for their own good and tripping over themselves to try to figure-out whether the market is going up or going down.

    Sounds unbeleivable, I know.

  5. Your right JJ. The sad part is that if someone really believes you need any of this crap to trade (I'm speaking mainly of futures)) then they really should not be trading. Learn price action. Watch watch watch watch watch. You will then make money.

I wonder if Jack charged what some of these clowns charge to "learn" how to trade, ( and I use that term loosely) if these asswipes would be so interested.

Apparently, there are 112 posts in this thread. Yet I can only see 43. And the view from where I'm standing is crisp and clear and light. The voice of dissent is gone, and in it's stead a clean tranquility resides.

If only life were so easy. If only there were such a tool to separate the wheat from the chaff instantly.

On ET there is such a tool.

What Jack is talking about is a paradigm shift for many of us. So open your minds, make liberal use of the ignore feature, and see where the journey takes you. What can you lose?...

  7. Inhale ... hold for three counts .... exhale (whoosh!).

Man, that's some good stuff you're smok'in there.

P.S. Please stop in and let us know when you actually have a brokerage account and are ready to start trading futures. :p

To be honest, MandelBrotSet, I am surprised at your condescension towards Daniel33.

Take a look at the PnL thread, and notice how a lot of the big winners trade shares.

The only reason I am even responding to this comment is because, on other threads, you've seemed to be a pretty insightful, and importantly, not juvenile, poster. Would hate to see another person become a troll.

  9. You're taking my post out of context.

Daniel33 was complaining that SCT didn't fit his learning paradigm, so the fault must be with SCT. He was also complaining that taking the opposite argument of SCT does not yield any results, so therefore we must be at fault as well.

I told him to stop complaining and either go with the SCT Camp (not my choice, but hey, I believe in freedom of speech) or to get his act together using his own system of trading (otherwise known as CW in hershey speak).

He replied that he trades shares of SPY ... hey look, it's better than paper trading, but not by much.

Trading shares of individual comapnies isn't the same as trading shares of a common indice ... I actually am surprised that you would lump the two in the same category. Would hate to think you don't actually know what you're talking about.

    :)

    Fair enough.
And, haha, I thought it was you who was lumping all shares together.

My apologies for taking you out of context.
