Marijuana stocks a prime example. Lots of touts about "this is the pot stock to own", "pot stocks soaring", "pot stocks making millionaires and you're missing out". Well, the truth is other. Here's a chart of MJ... a pot ETF. If pot stocks were actually soaring, so would this ETF. It's not. Bottom Line... know the charts, take the hype with a grain of salt. Not just for pot stocks, but for EVERYTHING!! The charts show what players are actually DOING WITH THEIR MONEY. That's all that really counts. Recognize that and trade accordingly.
