Surf, I provided you live account trading performance, which was posted initially upon start (thank you for offering me such an idea back in August) and had several people watching it closely and commenting almost every day (I can't post the link here for obvious reasons, it would be conflict of interest with ET, but you are a smart man, I am sure you can find the proofs to my claims if you want ). Isn't 2 months live trading worth a little bit more than 10 days Combine tournament I am not too interested in cause I switched the trading platform not too long ago and adding another distraction in the form of Combine simply to prove something just doesn't make sense to me. Also I trade OPM and carry responsibility for my clients. What would they say if I distracted myself with Combine instead of being focused on real trading, how do you think?
You're right, sorry for intervention. Just used to chat on Skype with NoDoji (where she provided numerous live calls by the way) and felt I more or less know our typical day traders' jokes. Me and my trading buddies for example often say things like "Euro FV 1.5" when having a long position... trading is lonely and boring, we've got to have some fun of it to relax during the dull times.
My student? Excuse me? The reason I connected with Ammo was to ask questions about the inner workings of the markets. He was a professional market maker before I even knew what a trade was. He is in no way my student. I told him a bit about how I traded, and he explained MP to me. The with-trend ATM machine was generous this morning. Yes, thank you nodoji. I am profiting in both directions today using the Price Drivers. Thank you for clarifying your relationship with Ammo. But now, I am even more confused. A pro market maker who can't use a DOM or day trade ? But that's ok, it just further makes my point that TA claims are nonsense. No telling how many more TA folks have entered the combine and quietly blew out--- Will you take the torch here and prove the rightness of your stance? Or is there too much ego and followers to lose when you fail?
Ammo has called his trades live here for years and he uses TA (market profile). TA works beautifully for me, ammo, cornixforex (also a live call trader), geez (called his trades well in advance of entry trigger, no less), and PABuster (these are all traders I've been able to observe trading real time). Surf, I understand that our methods could fail at any time and then we'll have to find new edges. But I consider 2+ years a large enough sample size for me to trust my TA-based day trading methods without question Once again, because you seem to be missing a key point: The only thing I lose by taking time to trade in a simulated environment to prove that TA works for me (for at least 10 days, which won't be a big enough sample size for the TA naysayers, for whom even several years is not ample enough proof), is 10 days of my earnings. And don't tell me I can do both; my trading style involves 15-30 trades a day and requires intense focus on a variety of technical levels and price action. You and the other combiners have already proven how well it works to mix business with silliness.

you are failing in the tst combine and getting housed with the wfc trade in your journal. not sure how you have any credibility.
