It does seem to me to be "wrong" in a philosophical and logical sense to declare that simply by being alive one is "entitled" to something. I think the entire premise that anyone is entitled to anything is metaphysically incorrect. In fact, I take it as axiomatic that no one is entitled to anything and no amount of argumentation could possibly convince me otherwise at this point. I've heard every argument under the sun, twice, and none of them were persuasive on this point.

Who says the young have valid claims on adults. But of course per usual you go for the opposite of reality. The problem with our social contract is not that adults are not supporting the young just because they were born . The young just because they were born are obligated to become indentured servants of the adults since adults control the political process and have been partying like it's 1999 spending money they expect the next generation to pay. The combination of class welfare and inter-generational welfare is unsustainable.
