Third world, hell. Amost anywhere else. I have spent two hours in a bank in Greece trying to change money, and I once spent two days trying to wire money from Los Angeles to a bank in Madrid, including about two hours of getting glared and barked at by the people at the receiving bank.

But ok, the food and wine were good.

  2. no,i wouldn't judge a whole country on the actions of a few nor would i say that a country has the capability of being moral. A countries actions are based on the decision of a few temporary employees that supposedly represent the people but rarely does.

When you say country who are you referring too The government, the populist,

  3. Psshh, yeah right. The USA is the largest buyers of porn in the world. The united states is the rape capital of the world behind south africa. The United states is also the largest buyer of illegal drugs in the world. The murder rate in the united states per capita is greater than countries like Yemen, India, saudi arabia, and azerbaijan just to name a few. US citizens celebrate violence and love to see people get hurt (just look how well bumfights did) and dont get me started on blasphemy. Blasphemy just rolls off every americans tongue whether or not they believe in God. In fact...you can hear people saying G-damn it on regular daytime TV. Look at rap music. It degrades women by calling them bitches and ho's. Go into the grocery store and at the checkout and you are guarenteed to see women in really small bikinis on magazines right there for all the little children to see. Men in this society are ridiculed if they are still virgins at 16. Some are ridiculed as early as 12 if they are still virgins. Also in this country, forget about marrying a woman thats a virgin. By the time she is 25 she will have had 10 dicks minimum. Many will have 2 to 3 kids by 30 and its a good chance that if she is not married, the kids do not have the same father. Oh and lets not forget that the father doesnt want to take responsibility in this country.

You think we have better morals than the 3rd world? I dont think so, my friend.

  4. Interesting...I've never had that problem in europe although i havent been to spain. Only Ireland, England, France, and Netherlands. Everything seemed to run pretty smooth there (although Amsterdam was a little slower than average to do transaction, but you gotta factor in the marijuana for that slow down) =D

  5. Basically gov't believes in private enterprise and capitalism IF the gov'ts desired outcome is achieved otherwise all is manipulated/regulated for desired results with unintended consequences which mucks things up.

  6. you think the government has a monopoly on manipulating and regulating markets.

almost all of our regulations aren't passed until the relevant industries literally rewrite the bill.

just look at the original healthcare bill and what got passed. stocks in HC rose after the gutted bill was passed. this happens with most legislation

What private sectors believe in capitalism, every time i look lobbyist's are trying to get exemptions, loop holes and other forms of favorable legislation to dominate their landscape. I would say if anything Gov is a clear reflection of private sector ambitions.

  8. Strabo, the greek geographer during Roman times, 63/64 BC – ca. AD 24, wrote this about England and Ireland:

3 The Deified Caesar crossed over to the island twice, although he came back in haste, without accomplishing anything great or proceeding far into the island, not only on account of the quarrels that took place in the land of the Celti, among the barbarians and his own soldiers as well, but also on account of the fact that many of his ships had been lost at the time of the full moon, since the ebb-tides and the flood-tides got their increase at that time. However, he won two or three victories over the Britons, albeit he carried along only two legions of his army; and he brought back hostages, slaves, and quantities of the rest of the booty. At present, however, some of the chieftains there, after procuring the friendship of Caesar Augustus by sending embassies and by paying court to him, have not only dedicated offerings in the Capitol, but have also managed to make the whole of the island virtually Roman property. Further, they submit so easily to heavy duties, both on the exports from there to Celtica and on the imports from Celtica (these latter are ivory chains and necklaces, and amber-gems and glass vessels and other petty wares of that sort), that there is no need of garrisoning the island; for one legion, at the least, and some cavalry would be required in order to carry off tribute from them, and the expense of the army would offset the tribute-money; in fact, the duties must necessarily be lessened if tribute is imposed, and, at the same time, dangers be encountered, if force is applied.

4 Besides some small islands round about Britain, there is also a large island, Ierne, which stretches parallel to Britain on the north, its breadth being greater than its length. Concerning this island I have nothing certain to tell, except that its inhabitants are more savage than the Britons, since they are man-eaters as well as heavy eaters, and since, further, they count it an honourable thing, when their fathers die, to devour them, and openly to have intercourse, not only with the other women, but also with their mothers and sisters; but I am saying this only with the understanding that I have no trustworthy witnesses for it; and yet, as for the matter of man-eating, that is said to be a custom of the Scythians also, and, in cases of necessity forced by sieges, the Celti, the Iberians, and several other peoples are said to have practised it.

There is an ebb and flow to history, rich today, poor tomorrow, and vice versa. Power grows than diminishes, to be aborbed by another empire.

  9. That is a powerful reason.

The US does not want another US or USSR

The EU does not want another EU.

At the end..............its all about business and power.

  10. and that is the reason hyperinflation won't happen under the current landscape. The dollar dominance is in forced by the U.S intelligence complex. Any government that stands in the way will be overthrown or will suddenly have terrorists in there country. The survival of the dollar has more to do with military and political dominance than economic output

pundits and academic economists are baffled ever time the dollar doesn't faultier. but their reluctance to understand the chokehold America has on other countries is the reason their economic theories and models fail
