Harshly punishing working class people like pizza drivers and cabbies for the heinous crime of using common sense fits right into the liberal mentality. You can bet if their own children were required to do these jobs, they would suddenly see it differently. Instead, they get jobs at Goldman and TV networks.
Of course if the opposite had happened - if a black pizza driver got shot up in a white neighborhood - Obama would have talked about it and the DOJ would be onsite investigating. at one time I delivered for Dominos. We routinely redlined certain neighborhoods. Usually it was just certain apartment complexes. Sometimes customers would give us shit and we would just tell them, "We use to deliver there, but we just had too many problems." and sometimes the people who got redlined were blond haired blue eyed midwestern farmer's daughters and sons who drank too much and got weird after sporting events.
