Why nobody remembers February 27, 2007 correction? The Shangai Surprise?

  1. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost a remarkable 416.02 points closing at 12,216.24 points. This represents just over 3,29% of the total index average and is the worst drop since 9/11. The NASDAQ Composite Index plummeted 96.66 points or 3.86% closing at 2,407.86. The Standard and Poor’s 500 Index also walked off the cliff, freefalling 50.33 points or 3.47% closing at 1,399.04.
     
  2. NQ has done close to -100 a few times this year if my memory serves me right just not quite about the actual close but Iv'e seen that dreaded -100 at least two times this year.

  4. I did, since its my bday :)

    and I do remember going out to dinner in Manhattan and hearing the whispers at the steakhouse we went to about the carnage that day.
