Nobody who trades has the time for this logorrhea. What was that missive? 4-5K words?

    Just two remarks:
    1. I know a few "very smart math geniuses" that never could make any money in trading, while other mathematical illiterates did make money. There is no 1:1 relation between "very smart math geniuses" and trading performances. Otherwise all succesful traders would have to be mathematical geniuses, which is not the case.
    2. I managed in past a financial department of a billion dollar company. From the 80 people in my department, at least half was intellectually smarter then me. However I became the manager of the department because I had more knowledge about the required skills for the job, so intellectual smarter is no requirement to beat others. Having the needed skills is.
    PS:
    • In general people who tell they are far superior to others only proof that they are not. Those who are really superior never make such a statements.
    • Out of curiosity: how do you know that you are one of the best mathematicians in the english speaking world?

  3. Is that you TDMA? Folks, look up TDMA...they are very similar. Both have a narcissistic mentality and treat ET members like we are some sort of scientific experiment created only for their amusement. We are the insects...he's the scientist. It's o.k. to be weird, but what makes him the worst kind of weird is that he has to sling it on us over and over. What a trip!

Hobo...you can tell us the truth...it's o.k. Need some therapy...we can help with that.:sneaky:

    "solipsistic"
That's an interesting word to describe someone.
I agree with hobo that maths indeed is a very large part of trading which gives an edge and perhaps we don't concentrate enough on that.

  7. wow. as i pointed out. compulsive and paranoid behaviour is one of the characteristics of a day trader.

no son, i've never met you before. your belief that you are being persecuted is all in your mind! :)

  9. (by pure neoliberalism i actually mean pure intellectual dishonesty - the notion that being good at maths makes you bad at trading!!! proves my point. to a day trader the method lies in brawn not brains)

(obviously literally speaking neoliberalism is just one of the diseases caused by intellectual dishonesty - so i should have said 'pure intellectual dishonesty' - but indeed pathological - the man truly believes that the stupider you are the 'better trader' you make!!)

(that's just hilarious. a guy arguing that being good at maths makes you a bad trader. that just HAS to go into some of my journalism.)

  10. "Those who are really superior never make such a statements."

that is the mantra of stupid people and the main reason most school children never listen to their teachers
