Why it's pointless to debate climate change with dumb Conservatives

  1. I know this is unheard of in righty world, but some people actually do things because its the right thing to do. Usually they are on the left. Gore is not into it for the money.

All other things are never equal. Our atmosphere is dynamic rather than static as is the thermal flux into our atmosphere.

El Nino developing for 2014. Moisture to likely return to N. America's west. Late Spring with cold ground delaying normal warming. Above normal severity tornado season in the making?

  7. OOOO there's that fancy word again. We're impressed! Not. Might have been before it was obvious that you're full of shit.

The thing is, the only thing that changes how much thermal energy goes onto the earth as a whole is the sun. And solar input has been going down even as temps continue to rise.

Is that true? Does it mean that the less solar flux our planet receives the hotter we get?

I don't like to hear the T word. I went through Katrina and then a Tornado struck four block from my house! We are seeing unseaonably cool temperatures and a delayed Spring here in the deep South. The peak of the Azalea bloom is coming about 10 days later than average.

FC, this is something important you should know. I haven't reached any conclusion with regard to how important man's CO2 emissions are in regard to climate! But I am definitely leaning toward the view that our CO2 emissions are less important than many have supposed. I've mostly just pointed out work that contradicts the Gore-Hansen viewpoint. And I have raised some questions. I don't consider the question of whether we are seriously affecting our climate with our CO2 emissions to be settled at all. Whereas you seem to be convinced that we are causing our planet to heat up to dangerous levels. I have no problem with disagreements. And frankly neither of our opinions are very important.
