Why It Is So Hard to Live in the Present

I find it difficult to live entirely in the narrow present because I'm not very happy with it in a wider sense. If I felt entirely happy with the present, I wouldn't be able to go on trading, it would be an unjustifiable financial risk and a time distraction.

As trading will be my best available current path from the present, I don't want to be overtaken by complacency and calmness. The uncomfortable present is helping me towards a better future.

If I was a man, I guess I would put a like. The women are hard to live in the present because they are always worried about why men have such a hard time to be more spiritual, why their life should really hurt them or gift them, before they can go to the path of self-awakenning and let go all thoose supreficial vaues, mentioned by Southhall ... and women worrying about their children wellbeing or about how it would be with their future children or if taking the different side, dicidig to be childless, they are worried about body and carrier and about what was missed and how worse it will be.

Because more of humans are really afraid to look inside of themselves and to realize and to know that real roots of their happiness and unhappiness, success and failures are within themselves.

  5. because past seems easier, more pleasant and perhaps even more enchanting once it's gone. As humans we tend to run away from responsibilities sometimes and are always chasing happiness

For those who childhood days were dark, unpleasant, miserable, vengeful, unforgiving, pathetic, their subconscious mind has been programmed to see things negatively.
It will be a challenge for them to live in the present moment, moment by moment.

Conversely, those whose childhood days were pleasant, challenging, forgiving, compassionate, joyful will have their subconscious mind programmed differently.

"No matter where you go there you are.".

My answer to the question where do I live, from someone who doesn't know me, is ... right here.

Then next if they have a puzzled look I point to my head.

If that doesn't help well they're out of luck.

One more an ahhhhh moment isn't that special :) by way of Eleanor Roosevelt

    Yesterday is history
    Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift, that's why it is called The Present.

The breathe and focusing on the breathe can help bring you into the present. It is our connection to the world around us.
