U.S probably going to see a December hike if numbers keep coming in..consumer looks good..the cad seems to be sort of a penny stock by comparison- next Friday payrolls tells us more.
I don't see how the US can ever raise. I think the US raises only when US residential new housing starts to take off, and there is no evidence of that happening. The ISM was at 49 in August: "Manufacturing contracted in August for the first time since February of this year, as only six of our 18 industries reported an increase in new orders in August (down from 12 in July), and only eight of our 18 industries reported an increase in production in August (down from nine in July)." How can the Fed raise when manufacturing is contracting? I don't see it.
