Yes , but at least we admit it , while others plow on pretending.

  2. Anybody notice that we closed at support 3 days in a row and every morning we gapped up? Feels like a spring under us.

We could break out down from the prior 2 days of congestion but I think the odds are much more favorable for a BO up.

    New highs? I hope so.

There was a strong bearish divergence on MACD and the RSI earlier this month. I went short at 1293.50 when I saw it and am holding that now. I suspect we will see 1250 and then a possible move down to test 1200. Equities will certainly be down this year or sideways at best. At some point higher commodity prices must weigh on equities. Commodities by the way are nowhere near their highs adjusted for inflation. I would imagine that gradually over he next several years we will see $150 oil and $5 gas. By the way, I believe $5 is where the public will finally reject gas as the fuel choice and will demand alternative fuels etc .

I covered my short at 1267.25 on the bullish divergence that presented itself on the hourly ES charts at 1:30 01/25/06. I went short again today at 1277.50.Trade was in the money for a bit but has worked against me. There was a bearish divergence (milder than the one yesterday) at 11:30 CST today, so there is at least a potential for further weakness. Looks like the high today bumped the downward trendline. Not certain where the next move is of course so I use stops. I realize I should have gone long yesterday instead of just covering--oh well

I covered near the lows. Made about 15 S&P points. Good trade. Focusing on Silver and the Euro now.

My short was stopped out at 1299.25 on 1/11.
On 1/12 the high of the day never reached my limit price, close but no cigar. Waiting patiently thereafter.

I still believe there is more down room than up, but it makes little difference to me.
