There is a lag on regulatory approval. Probably, just a formality but, still.

  2. I closed my TWTR position today.
    A very small profit.
    Pizza money.

The week before last I wrote the 44 Covered Calls then last week rolled it up to the 45's expiring this Friday.
    I was a-feared of Thursday's numbers.

  3. If TWTR is pretty well sold for $54 - whats the reason its under $50?

It's in the Nasdaq 100, so it gets sold when every other stock gets sold.

Takeover stocks still fluctuate .... till time comes for deal to finalize.

  6. Earnings are coming and they won't be pretty. This is the reason the board agreed so fast. It is a $30 stock.

The deal is not going to be closed until late this year. Until the deal is officially closed, the company is still a public company and its stock still can be traded on public exchange until it's decided to be delisted somehow. Although I am wondering if you buy the stock now which is trading well below Musk's price, do you get the $54.20 when you sell it to Musk when the deal closes?

No unless Musk turns around and caters to the CCP and allows the CCP to censor it and surveil its users like what it does to the Chinese version of twitter, weibo.
