  1. they work in offices because they don't got the kahunas to challenge life without a guaranteed salary. Risk? = foreign language to 'em. Taking pounding shots to the stomach, no sir, it be too hard for them to relish such torture. Traders? My kind of warriors - deserve the best, they earned it

Exactly DaVeV; and a demo is a good ideas for brokers-@ least with paper/ink trading you have a record of results to study. As far as 24 years with no profit-well ,well ,we again proved the market is not random. Since the benchmark SPY has gone up over 200%, past 10 years; someone that did a no brainer buy + hold on SPY did real well. NOT a prediction but much better than a demo also.

I like what an artful elite trader noted ''almost a science''LOL:D:D

It is easy to have a strategy.

But it is how you manage the trade, that can turn a good strategy, into a great one.

Management is not easy, because a strategy is what you force onto the market.

While, managing a position, entails having an in depth understanding of market and all it's indiocracies.

no mentorship or book or training can really help you, to get that understanding, in a short amount of time.

This has to be learnt , cannot be taught and the time taken to learn is usually measured in multiples of years.

ADD TO THIS THAT YOU ALSO HAVE TO MANAGE YOUR OWN EMOTIONS AND INDIOCRACIES.

If you consider all this, success in trading , is really a daunting task and it is hardly surprising that 95% supposedly fail at it.

only those, who have the emotional and financial stamina, to withstand the ordeals of trading, will succeed.

i have never come across anybody that says "i started trading and i immediately was successful"

That, no one even attempts , to lie such a thing, shows how unlikely that is:D

HOWEVER IN THE END THERE IS NO BUSINESS LIKE
    TRADING

  6. There is another vibration, TG .......................

666 will not let the masses escape the fixed, implanted game. Trading is ONE escape route. The lure? One suitcase, a laptop, an account, an internet connection, skill - AND money pours in :):):)

666 went further in that the books written on trading are written by those who don't trade - but they teach akin to professors who can't do so they teach at universities.

No Sir, 666 will not allow this. But he will encourage trading sites to become dating and socializing sites.

666 went even a step further - he created the most peculiar environment that one could go into such sites with phony names and identities and BE ANYBODY - legally

    What a country! :D

    :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D got a trigger finger
    all true
but ,pray, what on earth, is 666?

the books that are written are about strategy so they are not wrong but no strategy is the best.
It is management that makes the strategy work and make money.
The secret of success is the management of failure.
I cannot believe that i made a profit today so i am off to buy some beer and celebrate.

what on earth are Brooks patterns? if i [re]name America, macaroni, does it become 'My America'
There is nothing new in what he teaches: only renaming of old classical technical analysis patterns.

  9. Had 2 negra modelo beers, try this brand sometime, its a dark brew, blows away guiness

666 is the mythical chap who brought the S&P500 to her knees in March 2009 and ended the crash with a cruel joke of CLOSING for the day at 666. Look at the confusion he's causing now again by hammering the Dow, Transports, S&P to the 200-day, then rallying them like crazy to hook them all IN LONG again. then he'll deliver his most powerful engine southbound wave heading back again towards 666. Just my 2 cents, right or wrong.

TG, since you mentioned psychology in one of your posts, this is the chap who is in all traders that makes trading tough regardless the techniques we know we have. Its the same dude. :):D:)

    i
wish i could try that brand.....when i make million usd and shift to USA i will...we do not get even guiness here in india, we do have budweisor, carlsbug, and now i can shift from Indian brands to those that cost a little more.
but what has impressed me the most here in ET is the level of intelligence and wisdom that is exhibited here, ten years i have been out in the cold without the touch of a successful trader
