why is the PATS SYSTEMS data connection bad?

is it because it disconnects too often?

 

I don't ever have disconnects with it. Pats is just the software. Reliability depends on your brokers Hardware and your brokers' servers.

 

3 disconnects today here... Am I the only one?

 

None for me. Might be your broker.

 

Pats is terrible for the most part. They have not updated their servers fast enough. The only Pats fee ive ever used that had no problems were through Man Financial

 

I am in the market for a better data feed that is better than PATS. Any recommendations?

What exchanges are you trading? for US futures markets, IQFeed works well (can be used with Medved QuoteTracker and other software)
