Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

  1. Yes - good point. Will have to review more of this thread later. But there are only so many hours in a day to get things done...

    Yes Sir he did

    Optimal word “think”

But he did not ask for

    Fib #’s
    Macd
    Stochs
    CCI
    ABC/123
    Moon Beams
    News
Why the chicken crossed the road

Or anything else of the sort

Some commentary (after thinking) on your part as to why/ what it would do would have been perfect

maybe you would have been correct - maybe you would have been wrong - who knows... who cares

That someting was learned is what is important.... as everything comes from someplace, and nothing happens without reason

However telling us possible .382 / .618 bounce – IS of no use Sir

eta - There are several other threads for indicators - This one is for honing your weapon

One thing is certain – We are all after the same thing

So by whatever means we get there – it damn well better get us there

Although some means are easier than others (when fully understood) It's just understanding them that may be a bitch - or not

Ok J2 - this one is on your shoulders :) but if you are wrong, I will say, there you go, that is what you get for listening to other traders - hold to expiry it is, just hope I don't have to resort to "un-natural" clothing to get out of this worm hole:D

No buying stock, sure if I thought it was going to go up some more I would buy some calls:D

Actually, I laughed earlier, as the last post about the "price" of the painting was brilliant:)

The "actual" painting we were looking at was a print - around $200 or so, a lot less than the "real" thing.

How can we make an informed decision unless we are looking at the "real" thing!

It is like trying to trade with delayed quotes - and I bet you $100 that some traders have tried that, and will continue to do so:D

Like RN, I am but a novice also, but I do like to hold on to as much of my money as possible, and not give to other traders, especially ones who hide behind money that is not their own:p

Yes TF, and RN had to buy a new keyboard because of Jack and his antics:D

I hope some more "Gunfighters" join in, as that is what I like best, and if you think pattern recognition on the old modern day glass jar is good, I have a little something done in Excel that would make the novice eat 1000 bars of Willy Wonka chocolate to try and find the "Golden Ticket":D

Hint hint - how come the "advanced" programmes do not allow you to "actually" see what is happening inside the jar - and you have to resort to "the matrix" vision to decipher - talk about an oversight:eek:
