Haha good question!

Human nature is to predict. However, in trading one should listen to the market. Still without predictions we cannot function well. Trading is paradoxical per the Market Wizards series author Jack Schwager.

 

It depends on how you look at it. Is it prediction or probability?

 

I’d say both. You may call it bet or gamble. It doesn’t make any difference to me.
