Yeah, I have to rethink everything I’m doing wrong which is: 1. Make a plan, test the plan 2. Find out the reasons for me losing I suspect there are more things like “changing market conditions” and knowing how to work around that which really just goes back to points 1 and 2.
And then also being just vigilant enough to adapt. Snart said it really well “Make a plan. Execute the plan. Expect the plan to go off the rails”
First of all, I am amateur, I am retail and I am a newbie day trader, so this is not advice nor pontification, it is an observation: You sir, couldn't predict.
Question: How do you trade with the trend when sometimes highs/lows are respected and sometimes they are not?
Hmmm… maybe that’s why they say to get in at low risk area and to get out when it’s not going anywhere
I’m trying to come up with a system by Backtesting a lot. I repeated the same strategy over and over but the results were not good. I even tried flipping it but it was still a bad strategy after doing that. Can anyone give me advice on what I should be doing?
