well..at one stage the elite learned believed the earth was flat..until one day a wise man looked at a shadow on the ground..the rest is History..

back in 2000..which is a mere 22 years ago..the exact same idiotic threads and idiotic posters were all over the web..today..they mostly congregate on apps and use push notifications to make sure they miss nothing..ha ha ha..

it is so Obvious why the Obvious is today much more difficult for the plebs to understand..and if you don't understand why that is so..then..enough said..

did you know that nearly all of the oxygen given off by the Amazon rain forest never leaves the Amazon..and that a few days old Baranace Goose gosling has to jump off of a mountain cliff and plummet to the base below..bouncing off the cliff walls on the way down..and..if it survives that ordeal..might be eaten by a hungry fox in waiting..

so..what has this got to do with the Obvious..well..quite a lot actually..and for the very small few in the know..which used to be five..the more time passes..the more..

    "asses laiden with books"

we see all around us :)

"did you know that nearly all of the oxygen given off by the Amazon rain forest never leaves the Amazon"

well I have had a similar argument with ecologist or supposed to be such many times in the past: with over 70% of the planet covered by oceans the real homeostasis between Oxygen and CO2 happens in there, The Amazon is extremely important of other reasons (genetic pool of million of species, for instance) but its contribution to O2/CO2 exchange is of little significance.
HOWEVER if you were to ask any 100 people, 99 of them will say that the Amazon is the lung of the planet, obviously:D

i think i see a Pot Of Gold amongst those shapes :)

to get back to the purpose of the thread..which should be very Obvious by now..how come you never see Carpenters or Plumbers or Electricians or Block Layers..or any other profession..gathering on a public forum to discuss the intricacies and nuances of their trade!!!

what is it with money..is it the "money for nothing" aspect of it..or is it the joy of the ignorant in the "discovery" of something completely new!!!

    as the old saying goes..

"there is one born every minute" :)

But you can see all these professions and woodworkers, oil painters (artists), blacksmith, beer makers, salami and sausage makers, bakers etc gathering on public forums discussing all the possible minute details intricacies and nuances and much more of their trades. Just Google it, it’s easy to find.
