hey, i don't like attention and so i try hard not to post at all any more...the simple reason is that peeps might think i'm smart when i'm not, because even though i do understand what Nysestocks is talking about it still takes a lot of discipline and awareness to trade it successfully as with most of us fear and greed takes over all too easily when money is on the line...and so we find reasons to go against what we know works. In my opinion only, as i prefer to keep things simple because i'm just a dumb arse i only concentrated in what Nysestocks posted and eventually the penny dropped, it is indeed simple BLASH SHABL and if you pay attention to his posts you could work out the how with good control of risk. And so controlling your fear and greed but identifying it on a chart is important.
Not really. I see a lot of claims, but no proof of any successful trading that's worth the effort trying to solve the so called puzzles of this thread. That said. It's an interesting thread and does contain some elemental and valuable truths. Particularly for a complete newbie. It does make you think. At least it should. One of the main themes early on at least is that you shouldn't trust gurus or charlatans who want to teach you to trade. And how is the OP and his various incarnations treated by the participants in this thread? Precisely like a guru who holds the keys to heaven, but with as little proof of successful trading as the other educators in this business. Still, like I said. It's an interesting thread which I think contains some good truths and is good in that it makes you think. But personally, I'm not convinced there's any trading technique/mechanics in this thread which will help you with that part.
I moved over to ForexFactory... There's more going on there at this moment; new thoughts, people posting charts, making calls etc. Try the thread of "Flying Dutchman"...
for a long time i was cynical and had doubts about the true intentions of Nysestocks, but he does explain how to trade, if you keep things simple and pay attention to what he types.
Well there's a new active community here in ET... starting threads like "Scalping is Risky?" and "Forex is a good platform"... Anyway, I saved your last post..:
The obvious can be unseen because it matters how your bar time is set. In a 5 min bar setting it can be very obvous what is going on, while in a 3 min or 7 min you won't see it very clear. GO
