Is there a reason it is a box, and not two horizontal lines? Does the box imply that a time component is pertinent to the box?
be careful or GO will be back with the big stick a trade can be very short..as in mins or less..or very long..as in hours or days..very rarely more than a few weeks it all depends on how much you are risking..my last set of trades on the MES started off with a several mins to several hours..and a small few were as described above..added to a losing position to average in..i think i done this twice and the longest hold was around 2 werks..all trades were winners..in total around 15 or 16 the only set rule is..never put all your eggs in one basket..after that..only risk the money you make..or to be more precise..only risk a small part of the money you make.. for..unless you can hold on to the money you make..then surely it is just a waste of time !
not military budget.. scientific research budget..but we all know that will never happen..too many fools pull the muppet strings.. imagine that Donald Trump can get elected and reek so much havoc in the world..in the name of "a cause"..sure this is no different than Stallin, Hitler or even Julius Ceaser we are behaving no different than what they did throughout history..giving so much power to one person..is.. needless to say..idiotic ! btw.. Constance The Great..the person responsible for the continuation of the Roman Empire as it exists today..killed his own wife and son to further his political gain..and to think that fools are still paying the "tax collectors" money every week..although the Papa had to dig in to the massive reserve to the tune of €40 million odd..and asked the dress wearers to take a pay cut due to Covid-19 effect on the "coffers"
Well, in reality the problem per se is not in giving a lot of power to one person (as for the US president) but for the check and balances to fail (as it happened, to a significant extent, with Trump and 99% of republican senators and congressmen behaving like sheep). Before Trump it has never been such an issue and I really, really hope it will never, ever happen again with any one president, whatever the political orientation. and I will now completely drop any discussion related to politics as this is not the place
As for adding to a loser to average in, that is a very risky business unless you know what you are doing and have the tolerance for the drawdown you may experience. But I agree that sometimes it can be advantageous to do so and change the trade TF.
exactly my point why you use the MES..a drawdown of $500 is nothing..but a drawdown of $5,000 is not nice
