thanks, for making your minds think =)

    I'll give it a shot:

    1. price can do 3 things:
    • go up
    • go down
    • stay (range)

    2. prive levels / Why are we at an important price level?
    • three levels
      • 3693,50 - upper level
      • 3685,50 - middle level
      • 3671,50 - lower level
    • current price level
      • 3682,50
The lower level represents an area, were a price reaction/rejection in the form of a tail was visible (A), followed by an increase in price.

The upper level represents an area, were price tried twice to reach new levels, both failed. First (B) was an harder attempt, the next one (C) with lower power.

The Middle Level represents an area, were price first halted (D) then declined but fastly recovered - but nevertheless was breached.

So, at the current level of 3682,50 price can increase to the upper level, when it is able to "hold" that middle level, or to decrease to the lower level - when unable to "hold that middle level.
As of now 20:51 Berlin ( 14:51 NY my guess is, the Middle levels holds with price going up to the upper level.

I saw that minute chart - and pretty sure it is there for a reason. As of now I have no specific idea how it can help me to clarfiy that picture - pointers very welcome =)

i think we can move away from play school rhymes such as..

abcdefhg..won't you come and play with me :)

let us graduate into primary education..and now do our 2 times tables !

    2 ones are 2
    2 twos are 4
    2 fours are 8
    2 eights are 16
    2 sixteens are 32
    2 thirty-twos are 64

what is the magic number here!!

but..remember..when trading all is never what it seems to be..so..you must reciprocate !!!

for a start..guessing is for those who don't know the answer..we don't have to guess..as..we don't need to know the answer !

you are correct about 3 things..mainly..but last one is consolidation..or..small movements up and down..compared to larger movements

the important level has been covered in the last post..but you must use your brain..that way it will stick in your head..only way to learn anything is to have a very good reason to learn it..look up Montaigne 1580.. :)

    here is an experiment..

state what % figure you think should be filled in for each day of last week..the % is for the number of traded contracts on the ES that were opened and closed on the same day out of the total number of contracts that were traded for each day..or..what we will call for now..speculative trades

i have the figures done and will post after a few people answer..we will then ask some "expert" in this field to say who is correct..close enough..or way off..if anyone !

feels hard, but fun alike - thanks for taking your time

    • 2 time tables: referencing to M30 and M1 timeframe
    • it's a riddle i cant solve right away, so I describe as much as I can to dismantle it
      • 2 / one,twos,fours / are / 2,4,8,16
      • four words,
        • the first word remains always as 2 - my interpretation is, that these are 2 time tables / time frames
        • ones, twos, fours = the timeframe, i.e. one minute, two minute, etc. as the chart posted before was a one minute chart
        • 2,4,8,16 = my interpretation: 2 one minutes bars are equal a 2 minute bar
    • as the the other chart posted is a M30 timeframe, the 32 is closest to M30
      • in my interpreatation "2 sixteens are 32" would be the relevant line. But which is the revelant number? As in an equation, 2 und 32 were given (in my understanding), sixteens would be the number. On the other hand "sixteens" is not a number but a word.
Currently I feel, I cant get closer than that

every question is hard..only when you don't know the answer..i rember watching "who wants to be a millionaire'. and the million pound question was about some french woman buried in some cemetry..it just so happens that the woman who answered the question had visited the cemetery in question..or something to that effect..that was not luck..that was a fact !

the hint is at the end :)

so..is this an opening or closing trade ?
