Just curious, do you know Timothy Sykes? He is an interesting character. There is nothing wrong asking for advice as long as one knows how to filter out the bad from the good. Thank you for your coaching.
Actually your logic makes some sense to me. But how do you know when it will stop going side way? And how do you figure out whether it will be going up or down once it stop going sideway? On the other hand, isn't it easier to bet up when price is going up and bet down when price is going down? Maybe this is why trend following is so popular among hedge fund managers.
usually when price start moving out of the range... of course this works better on some TFs than others.

I've actually met him more than once, he's like a fly that won't go away. No professional will ever touch what he teaches.
Tim Sykes is an excellent marketer. He just loves being in front of the camera, and talking and dancing and moving and using makeup and new clothes. I'm sure he is a good trader, as well -- But an excellent marketer/salesman. Great traders, in my opinion, are introverts. Tim Sykes is definitely an extrovert.
the iron chef he is not deaf his skills are so so but still makes dough he ask of chart it is an art it is gorgeous but not so obvious
baron's head not in cloud. baron very much standing on earth baron's ego in check, unlike some others. the chart silk purse for me, what it is for you i don't give the tiniest of ...... I did not ask you a question, i made a statement. I know what charts show, it is very simple, one of three things and where those things happen is where the low cost opportunity lies.
