  3. Hope you guys don't mind if I jump in here...

As far as "correctly" improving one's W/L ratio, I have no clue.
But *careful trade selection* works for me.
To borrow an expositional strategy from Mr. Nyse,
I AVERT losses by being aware of the:

    Averages
    Volume
    Extremes
    Range &
    Trend

If this helps, - you're welcome.

    MMD,

    IMHO Sir

Good traders – learn form their loses

Great traders – learn from their wins

I strive to learn from both :)

This is for a nice lady who is struggling a bit.

we are born with, wings to fly
sometimes we can reach that high
it feels like the sky is falling down

Against the odds, against the rain
You dig your heels in to slow that train
So many wishes in the lost and found
One little thing can turn it all around

    Holding on to a dream
    Trying to keep hope alive
You can reach out to me
You can reach down deep inside
When the whole world's gone insane
    A ray of light remains
These days you know it seems
    Sometimes the hardest thing is
    Holding on to a dream

At times you win, at times you lose
Sometimes life puts a rock in your shoe
But something in you keeps you walking on

    No!

BTW, I spoke with a very nice NY girl the weekend, and for some reason the Stock Market just happened to come up in the discussion - how strange!

"Why do you not trade the SM" I said.

"You need to have plenty of time to research the stock and follow it", she said.

Boy, do we take our experience for granted:eek:

You see, the majority are "really" blind to what really goes one, and even though we all "know" this, we still find it very hard to believe!

Is it no wonder there is more money made from selling "information" about the markets, than there is from "actual trading".

Let us continue to unravel the unravelable:D

A little teaser - and there are two that know what it is I speak of:D

"The worm wiggled down into the worm-hole, where he wandered and worried about his next way up - pop!"

I must apologize for some of the "terms" I have used - when I called the Big Fat Cats, Big Fat Arse Cats, I did not mean to insult anyone.

We are what we are, and what we are we should be content with, for our main goal in life is to be happy and please ourselves (and our family), not to please others.

I did not stop and think before I wrote, not the first time, but hopefully the last:D

    Again, my apologies.
