Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

I look at it as this. I assume ( :p ) gaps create S/R in your trading?

One Stock and a few currency pairs (I started with stocks and did few Forex trades on the side, than I realized that I had way more success with Forex and started to move away from Stocks, I still trade one stock just to keep in touch with the market...)
of course I look at (mostly) different TFs for the two market types

FX is not the same as stocks. What FX pair do you trade?

I don't know what good those 3 lines at the bottom section are.

Absolutely! I trade them quite differently and I guess I am just more in sync with Forex.

I trade USD.CHF (as I was living in Switzerland it was the obvious choice for a green trader), EUR.USD and a bit of EUR.CHF. In a way looking at the three pairs together gives me a better feeling about what is going on.

Notice that I am very much of a discretionary trader as that was the only way I could go (no discipline to follow a long list of hard set rules), I have very few rules but the most of it is being in sync with what I am trading, take profit often and get out when I have strong signs that a trade is not going to work.

Obviously not, but they would have got me long in real time on the 4th.

You have just uttered one of the dreaded words, as in wouda, couda and shouda. There is absolutely no room for these 3 words in trading.

Once it works, keep on doing it. So obvious :)
I do not trade FX now, as the best times do not suit me. In my opinion, it is very hard to beat the good old Dow 30, but some days you will be limited, which is fine, and can be a good thing. Never looked at USD.CHF, will have a look and try and see what attracts you to it, besides it being your native currency :)

Ok, fair enough. How do the 3 lines work out here? Tradable?
