Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

Yes, I was always a great believer in MTF, but, to be honest, if doing short term trades, which is what i intend to only do, then they really are not required.

For me, the best chart now for to time entries and exits is the 30 sec chart - I have watched them all, and have decided to use this as my main chart from now on.

Higher time frames still be left for quick ref, but minimized when trading an identified range.

It really is as simple as ABC, but is is the thick head on your shoulders that fuks you up and keeps you away from that fortune.

Once the head is sorted, it is like taking candy from a baby - as 99.99% of people have been brainwashed into thinking that successful trading is complicated and requires years of hard work and experience - bullshit I say, all it requires is good old common sense and a bit of COP ON :D

There is an obvious, but you do not need it, believe me, for all you really need is to get your thick head sorted out, and stop listening to arseholes talking a load of shite about nothing - including me:D - all they do is stop you from making money, and cause you to lose money:rolleyes:

The only person you need, is YOU!

KP, what if I told you I could explain the obvious to any person, with a few simple lines, and they would still not GET IT!

In fact, I have done this for a good few on this site, some in private, and not one person GOT IT and went on to make money from what I told them, even though it was explained that it is all that is required to make money!

So, is the problem what I told them, or, is it them, themselves?

I know the answer, and so does everyone else!

There are times we get on a roll..., completely in sync with the PA..., MAE is minimal on every trade - risk is kept at an acceptable level

    Rock on

Other times - typically in volatility - we get sloppy - yeah..., many in a row work out..., but we allow acceptable MAE to get out of control..., assumed risk creeps past.., then far exceeds acceptable level - but hell PA is volatile - and has always returned to put our trade in the black

Which is exactly the time when price will decide to keep going

Volatility is addictive..., and handily masks piss poor trading skills - for many..., as does a bull mkt / move

Just some food for thought My Friend

We will take it..., then not even have the goddamn courtesy to give you a reach around

    ;)

Get yer self collected up - please

Absolutely nothing to be gained from pissing money away needlessly

You can see what others can not, as, you have been there also - same goes for anyone who has been there and done that.

You are, as always, 100% correct!

I know what will happen if I am not careful, as any idiot should see that I am trading recklessly - no one has to tell me - I might be a thick Irish Paddy, but I am not a fool:D

To be honest, the main problem is always the head, and it is taking me a long time to sort out all the fuk ups that reckless drinking cause - I still kick myself in the ass every day for being such a thick Irish Paddy:mad:

When the day arrives that my head is really sorted, RN and H3 will be like little shcool boys compared to J_S - why, simple, cause J_S knows what the real "obvious" is:D

    As Morpheus said..

"there is a difference between knowing the path, and walking the path"

    Agent Smith best look out:D

As always, your words make sense - as usual, most are blind!

You can't teach obviousness. It's bottom up processes.
The wise points to the moon & the fool looks at the finger.
No one understands to be careful with fire until one gets burned.
It's more than knowing. The mind alone can't grasp what a whole being does.

So your consciousness can't truly grasp what's obvious to you.
And the student can't truly understand what you're teaching.
At the end What's obvious for yourself is lost in translation.
    Being -> Consciousness -> Words -> Output
    Input -> Interpretation without Prerequisites

KP, I have to agree with you there, and it is good to reflect on what one does, as, repetition is a two edged sword - the mind is truly an amazing thing when you think about it!

Ignorance is bliss - we all start out from the same place, totally ignorant to the trading world, and the path we take can be influenced by many things - most of them not in our own best interests.

It is the same story with all aspects of our life - just a different thing we are trying to accomplish.

It is always wise to listen to those who have already taken many wrong paths, until they eventually found the correct path - if anyone thinks I am talking about those who sell "information", then think again!

When you know what the "difference" is, as per Morpheus, then you are on your way to making radical changes that will change your outcomes in life - but as always, things that are well worth doing, are always the hardest things to do!

What I like most about the dumb ass redneck, is that all he is always right, even when he is wrong:thumbsup:

Volume - the fuel that drives the markets!

Lately, especially for ES during regular hours, I can see no real value in looking at volume by time, as the increases and decreases with price movements do not mean anything to me - why, I do not have a reason, but all I can think is that most of the trading is very short term, so the real long term "supply and demand" picture means piddly piss - it is now turned off and will be staying off for index futures.

Volume by price - now this view is showing a totally different picture to me, as I can see identifiable areas that can, and do, have a big impact on what price does when it returns to the areas!

Knowing that price has a high chance of "reacting" to a certain price level, allows you to be preapred - add in a few more "confirmations", and now you are starting to put the odds more in your favor - which over time, is what allows you to become the casino, and not stay the punter!

Looking forward to that day - for compared to the mkt - I am nothing

Be a major step up no doubt

This one aspect I find total peace..., enjoyment..., enrichment from

Mkt doesn't know..., or care about - right or wrong..., up or down..., high or low

    It simply is
