Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

JS, RN leave the trolls be, even the few seconds you waste replying to WW and the other trolls are seconds you'll never get back!

and WW and other trolls... btw, I am in the TFF group and a I am consistently making money day in day out, and my BIG, BIG THANKS goes to NY, TE, TO and RN for very kindly showing me the way from my trading day one.

As I was lucky enough to get across the Obvious thread and focus on thinking for myself and not wasting time reading trading books (of which I read none ever) so I have figured my own way to trading without the bullshit mainstream bias.

Damn it VO - I get so little entertainment these days - now you even deny me that

May as well take up drinkin (I do like me some moonshine occasionally)

    :)

    ===============

I do realize it distracting - but like all things trading - approach it objectively

  4. A few days ago Vindago posted "I lost 5 figures last year" and said "I would like to join the TFF". Today he has backed up Red, JS, NY and all the other cons attached to that group by saying "I'm in the TFF and I'm consistenly making money." So what are you saying VO... You joined the TFF group yesterday and are now consistenly making money? Or maybe you were in a different TFF group that lost you a bunch last year, but are hoping this new TFF will make money day in day out? You'll have to enlighten me, you seem to have dug yourself into a giant hole.

This will be my last post (for a long while). I hope every reader of ET can see the game these cons are playing. The con is to get you interested in their advice by having multiple members on the website sing their praises, and then tempt you with phrases like "making money day in day out". Do not listen to these people. If you think for one second an anonymous stranger online is going to give you advice on how to take money out of their pocket (that's what this entire trading game is about isn't it?), think again.

Now watch as they attempt to bury this post with insults and negative spin...

There is a time and place for everything, so no funny pics or name calling for now, as some people are genuine on these sites, and deserve some respect. I do not like long posts, so will try summarizing, but you will get the points.

. Beware those who keep repeating the same thing over and over, it is a tell tale sign.

. There are talkers and doers, and talkers will never make money trading.

. You must have a bias, but only fools predict market direction.

. The key to profitable trading, is...

sufficient capital + risk control + experience

. You will never go broke taking profits.

The below screenshot posted in TFF private thread last night, and I will not be posting this again, but we are under no illusions, as some days will have losers as well as winners, just happened this 24 hr period had all winners - the list contains 1 trade from a bit earlier that when opened was posted in this thread with a screenshot.

This is no silly report, it is the result of doing, not talking!

    P&L is after commissions.

WW, I did lose money when I started trading as I was doing all the wrong things I can possibly think about, than I stopped and started to think and trade small even paper trade so that I could gain the necessary experience before risking any money.

Now I still screw up now an then so there is more way to go for me before I am perfectly satisfied with my trading, however, I still am positive (even after my screw ups) and generally consistent. So, I did not start making money when I joined TTF, but I very much think that working with a small bunch of traders that have a similar mindset even if they trade differently and trade different instruments, will be useful for me.

For all the rest, I could no care less about what other traders or people think about me or my trading, I am not selling anything I am not interested in convincing anyone of anything, I just feel that is good to give back to other what has been very kindly given me by the OPs of this thread and few other poster on ET. I expect readers to be able to decide for themselves if what I have to say make sense to them or not. that is all. Have a great trading life.

  7. If there is one lesson to take away from this thread, it is to bet small.

Don't think about the money you could make; think about the money you will probably lose.

Betting small means you can trade less emotionally, stay in the game longer, and hopefully give yourself a fighting chance of making it.

Don't, like me, leave it to the market to teach you this lesson!

TO too late for that...but the lesson have been learned well enough. Thing is that before putting any money in a trade you need to know what you are doing, but most traders don't at least when they start...

You need to know what you need to know before making GOOD consistent money from the markets.
