Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

  1. I REALLY hope no one is gullible enough to think OP is talking to you. OP's entire post is about getting people to think for themselves. SO THINK DEAR READERS: would OP really be sending JS charts and messages to post on here YEARS after he left? Is there nothing fishy about that?

JS is a liar and a con man. And Red associates with him (apparently they're drinking buddies).

  3. Not yet? Red already said you guys were drinking buddies and got dinner together. Get your story straight fellas.

And thank you for explaining what FDW means. It was a real head scratcher!

From vague recollection of reading posts in the distant past I have the impression that NY is in Canada, RN in Texas and The Oracle (who is probably J_S) is in Ireland. So they are probably on different continents.

Maybe WW has limited the loss on his trade via an options trade, hence no stop loss.

As for the ES chart, these features stand out to me:

We will ignore WW, as he is obviously just out to waste time.

I think the question was to mark one BL, and one SH on the chart.

There is a valid reason why the number 30 was chosen.

Of course one can trade any timeframe they choose, down to the millisecond by some auto traders, but we are not concerned with that here.

We are only concerned with the chart that was posted.

what I see in that chart is a nice valley with a very nice hook right in the center of it. I see at least two trades I would have taken, the first with (IMO) limited risk going long @ 1840 around 3 pm after the hook (out @ 1870), the second a bit riskier, going short @ 1855 around 2pm (out & reverse @ 1840)...
