Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

    Since I started posting on internet forums, I have come to know 4 people well enough that we communicated by our real names, not some made up internet name.

    Out of the 4, there was 1 who knew the least about trading for making money, one who was very good at making money - but would give a good bit back, one who knew more about reading the markets than anyone I have ever seen before - but found it very hard to make money trading his own account, and made loads of money trading OPM, and, one who has a balance of all things required to make money, and keep it, on a consistent basis.

    RN is one of these 4, and he knows which one;)

    Be very careful whom you listen to on internet forums, as, they can end up costing you a lot of money, but not in ways you might think!

    That ES option I traded yesterday is currently at 10.50..and I might buy again shortly, and I again will know my max risk.

    I don't like tautology, especially when it's veiled in some mystical and cryptic horseshit. It make it look like monkeys doing business. But I have no doubt you're a good man. Let's just stick to trading.

    Yes, and No.

    It is obvious that wasting time is wasting you money, as you can use your time better at all times, it all depends on how you think, what you think about, and most importantly, what you DO!

    There is another more important meaning of,

    Time = Money

    Even though some have been shown what this means, in detail, I would honestly say that not one of the people shown even bothered to try it out for themselves, to verify it works well enough to yield consistent profits.

    Now, what do you think is wrong here?

    Why would people not believe what they are shown, and more importantly, why would they not make it their businesses to find out for sure, if, indeed,

    Time = Money

    If only life was that simple:)

    Why do we need music, what good is it to anyone to know what someone else was thinking about when writing a song!

    Why do we need poetry, theology, etc, etc, etc.

    Why don't we just do nothing and let the world look after itself!

    What is wrong with those you mention?

    Mental blindspots for various possible reasons: lack of open mindedness, dismissive attitude, unwillingness to deviate from the path taught, to go with the crowd, inability or lack of tools and training to test an idea themselves, lack of motivation to try or to stay the course, stupidity.

    So what do you mean by "Time = Money" ?

    As far as I am aware, although mentioned many times, it hasn't been explained.
